Abstract

The Arab Republic of Egypt has seen an acute crisis in providing
electrical energy, especially in the recent period, due to over
consumption and the country’s growing need for building new power
plants in an urgent and ongoing basis. This requires rationalized use
of electrical energy, by providing ways and modern methods to
achieve this through the use of smart home systems. The research
addresses the implementation of projects and communities located in
different regions of the Republic, in order to increase production, and
reduce the gap caused by the energy crisis in Egypt, and
commensurate with the high population growth rates in Egypt. It also
addresses modern scientific methods used in lighting systems, and the
possibility of providing the energy needed for that, as well as
advanced methods that lead to reduced energy consumption,
particularly in dense urban cities.
The research aims to:
Try and put swift and intelligent solutions to cope with the growing
problem of electrical energy consumption in Egypt, which is mostly
due to the wrong and wasteful use of energy in a large sector of the
country, residential homes.
