Studying some Comfort Properties of Youth′s Apparel Designed from Jeans Fabrics Grafted with Knitted Fabrics

Abstract

aim of this study is how to take advantage of studying the comfort
properties of various fabrics in designing youth fashion. Most of casual
wear were designed according to fashion trends without studying the
comfort properties of used fabrics, So this Study interested in studying
this properties to obtain Integrated product in terms of function and
design sides, in this issue a questionnaire had done to observe which
clothes preferable from youth, and measure some of comfort
properties for four samples of available jeans fabrics, then suggest
three designed collections for youth.
Overall, The Study results refer that the casual wear made from Jeans
fabric is the preferable clothes for youth; it achieved 808 percentage
in utilization compared to other fabrics, in other hands results indicate
that the fourth sample achieved the best average in comfort
properties, and three designed collections have suggested for youth
according to their fashion attitudes. The study recommended how to
benefit from the studying of comfort properties in designing functional
clothes according to its uses, and concern with the youth clothes in
terms of function and design sides. The study also recommended to
access variety of fashion inspiration recourses to enrich the youth′s
fashion.
