Abstract

Arabic calligraphy is considered an integral part of the Arab heritage, through which this heritage was recorded and preserved from loss and remained forever the children inherited from the fathers, and thanks to it the world knew what the Arab thought participated in the construction of human civilization, not only that, has distinguished Arabic calligraphy on what Other than the other lines, was not governed by inertia, but followed the new of evolution, so there are many types, and many patterns, and a close link between each type and the material on which it is written and the purpose used. Arabic calligraphy is one of the fields that study in the Arab world. This is because of the characteristics of the calligraphy aesthetic artistic features and formative elements such as straightness and agility, extension and numerator and editing, and assisted in this, for multiple types (such as Kufic- Andalusia ....... etc.) to simulate the possibility of adapting Arabic calligraphy to the design of modern, sustainable furniture. This study aims to explore the impact of some contemporary calligraphy experiences in enriching the field of interior design and furniture design, and its impact as one of the most important arts that confirm the Arab and Islamic identity in the light of modernity that invaded the Arab world and followed by most designers in recent times, as well as the suitability and quality of raw materials, Which strongly helped in the success of
