Forming and symbolic Plant Decorative values in Islamic Archaeological Textile Design

Abstract

The study deals with the symbolic composition, and semantic, and spiritual, and aesthetic issues for some decorative plant elements, and in common use in decorative composition for the design of Islamic archaeological textiles; application on a group of Islamic textiles in the Fatimid era archaeological Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo.
The analytical study of a group of Islamic textiles Archaeological Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo, which returns to the Fatimid era dealt with the technical analysis of some of the themes and elements decorative plant different for this group under study and how this relates to the subject of study to shed light on the symbolic and semantic decorative elements of the plant dimension of Islamic textiles archaeological design.
