Abstract

Rapid prototyping represent one of modern methods in the development of engineering products, where it helps to improve the design, production quality, and reduce the time needed to reach the engineering products to the consumer, and ease Setting, surveillance and control the design and manufacturing processes.
The research problem represented in : Deficiencies in the design and manufacture processes of prototypes and traditional moldings manually manufactured from wood plaster, plastic, wax and Sand Casting used in the manufacture of iron products in many of the design and production aspects.
The research aims to: Benefit from the rapid prototyping techniques especially 3D printing in the design and production of patterns and Casting cores of iron products, Due to the characteristic of these technologies in terms of speed and Accuracy in the design, production,
