Abstract

Anthropometric is one of the most important means for identifying appropriate measurement methods for the human body, as there are correlational relations between measurements of human body parts.
The research aims to build anthropometric measurements for Saudi women, and this research also deals with the methods of taking measurements of the Saudi female human body, and a graded measurement table from XS to XXL was reached, and it was applied to 4000 Saudi women in the age group between (25 - 45) years, in the regions of Mecca and Medina.
It is commensurate with the measurements of Saudi women, and there are no specific measurements for Saudi women in the Saudi Standards and Metrology Authority. This is due to the differences in the physical formations in terms of height and circumference, whether for individuals in the same community or in different regions, as it depends on the different human races, strains, and economic and social factors Also, there are many problems related to controlling the clothing product on the human body, and this may be due to the use of American and European measurement tables that do not match the body measurements of women in the Kingdom. Therefore, it is imperative to legalize the body measurements of Saudi women as a starting point for controlling and matching the clothing product on the body, leading to locally manufactured products that meet the requirements of women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
