Abstract

Abstract :
There are many palaces and rest houses have been founded and rest houses in Egypt that were built by the kings who ruled Egypt in different eras, and I found these rest houses with the aim of receiving the king and his family members, or to receive the guests of Egypt, or to rest and calm away from people’s eyes. The problem of research lies in not shedding light on such spaces. From the reality of its interior design and the misuse of such breaks after changing its basic activity in one part and neglecting the other part, the research assumes that it is possible to benefit from these rest houses and corners of historical and archaeological value and re-use them in a way that contributes to economic, historical and archaeological development.  
The research aims to shed light on the royal restrooms because of their historical and archaeological value by understanding the design foundations on which these restrooms were built and the factors that influenced their establishment and to clarify the aesthetic and functional values ​​of interior design through the design of the restrooms during the era of the family of Muhammad Ali Pasha and to devise new spaces that would be On the same approach as the royal rest houses, where they can be exploited in domestic tourism for the purpose of economic development. The research also recommends the necessity of shedding light on such untapped archaeological voids and rethinking how to use them in activating the tourism movement and the task in the economic development in Egypt.
