Abstract

Research Summary :

Recently, some new technological techniques and raw materials appeared in the fields of art and architecture (epoxy resin), which was also used in many industries and construction works in the architectural field internally and externally, and in interior design, decoration and art works, so the designer must be fully aware of modern materials, their characteristics and capabilities, and the latest methods of implementation, and from here the designers and specialists began to create mating There is a huge difference between the epoxy material and the various raw materials that are already around us, which had a great impact in acquiring these raw materials with many specifications that helped raise their efficiency when used and eliminated some unwanted defects and added to them an aesthetic touch and dazzling luster and raised their value, and from these materials ( wood,stone, marble, metal ... etc), and therefore the aim of the research is to present epoxy as one of the most important types of resin, and to identify it and know Its capabilities, types, uses, components, fields of use, advantages and disadvantages, and shed light on its importance in applied arts and architecture, as well as spreading this art and increasing awareness of it, its aesthetics, and its practical importance. available in the market, so it was necessary to shed light on how, types, and method of mixing these raw materials with other newly developed epoxy materials to improve and raise their efficiency and appearance, as this was one of the research problem
