Abstract

Abstract:
    A girl always needs to stand out, be unique, and appear with an elegant, eye-catching appearance. Therefore, interest in girls’ clothes has emerged, through which the overall feeling of the girl’s external appearance can be changed. From here came the idea of ​​research towards benefiting from a new source of design sources, which is one of the arts that attract any designer or artist. It is the art of ceramics, and it attracted the Spanish artist Picasso after his long artistic career. His ceramic works were considered a milestone in the history of modern art. Therefore, the researcher shed light on Picasso’s ceramics because of their inspiring artistic value. The current study aimed to enrich girls' clothing by benefiting from the analysis of Picasso's ceramics as an artistic value that provides decorative units that can be used with a contemporary artistic vision in the field of fashion. Accordingly, (25) designs were proposed, suitable for clothes for girls aged (18:30), and the opinions of specialists on the proposed designs were known, along with the implementation of (5) designs by printing and implementing them with different materials and some technological techniques, which obtained the highest percentages in relation to the opinions of the arbitrators. Then get to know the opinions of consumers and specialists on the implemented designs. One of the most important results of the research was the presence of statistically significant differences between the opinions of specialists and female consumers in the proposed and implemented designs, which indicate that the designs implemented from the analysis of Picasso’s ceramics achieved aesthetic and functional values in fashion design for girls’ clothes.
