Abstract:
Interior design based on metamorphosis targets users whose lives are characterized by dynamism and change, whose requirements cannot be met using traditional design methods that treat interior spaces as unchangeable masses. The design scenario is considered one of the design tools based on imaginary situations and stories that allow designers to use different possibilities and experiment with design solutions to achieve flexibility and adaptability before implementation, ensuring the idea's success and its application. the research problem, can be posed in this question: Can the scenario be used as a tool for interior design based on metamorphosis to achieve future visions of the success of the proposed interior space design from the user's point of view? The research aims to identify the concept of the scenario and apply it to transformable interior design, involving the analysis and development of imaginative scenarios that guide designers to discover different possibilities and experiment with design solutions before implementing them in reality. The research methodology combines both descriptive-analytical and applied approaches through a study of one of the interior spaces that exhibits metamorphosis mechanisms. One of the most important results was that each expected scenario in interior design has multiple performance characteristics, such as flexibility and transformability, which depend on meeting user requirements through designing transformable interior spaces. The research recommends applying the design scenario concept in interior design as an effective tool to provide users' future needs in the long term.
