Abstract

Abstract:
   The research deals with the integrative relationship between interior and exterior design complements and wall design by inspiration from plant morphology, which is considered an entry point to enriching the aesthetics of environmental beautification and its design inclusions, which depends on the creation and innovation of design treatments for plants, specifically the “Monstera plant” through the use of its morphological aesthetics. The problem of this research revolves around the lack of internal and external design complements in achieving complementary aesthetic unity between them, which is linked to the structure of the decorative design and wall treatments based on the morphology of the plant.
   The research assumes the capability of enriching the aesthetics of contemporary environmental coordination (indoor/outdoor) through innovative treatment stemming from the direction of the diversity of theories of form and morphology of plant morphology. The research aims to create decorative formulations based on the structure of the monstera plant’s morphology and utilize them in complementing the interior and exterior design in connection with the wall design, by using various techniques such as thermoforming acrylic, plastic and glass, laser engraving of wood and others, provided that the product achieves functional utilitarian values ​​and sustainability.
   The results of the research confirmed the existence of a complementary relationship between interior and exterior design complements and wall design inspired by the morphological diversity of the plant, specifically the Monstera plant. It also confirmed the extent of this plant’s adaptability to decorative form that suits its use in environmental beautification. The research then concludes by presenting a recommendation to conduct further studies that based on the morphological analysis of other plant elements, to identify the aesthetic values ​​and compositional systems of their structure, and to benefit from them in enriching the design aspect in the applied arts.
