The Role of Digital Advertising on Social Media to Supporting Alternative Egyptian Products

Abstract

Many global brands have been affected by the current conditions in the Arab region, especially the Middle East, leading to the growth of local businesses that have increased advertising and introduced new products to meet rising demand. With technological advancements, societal changes, and diverse consumer desires, digital advertising on social media plays a crucial role in raising awareness and shaping public opinion on global issues. It serves as a powerful tool to express societal trends, alter behaviors, and promote alternative Egyptian products by connecting with the audience on emotional and value-based levels.
Digital advertising is an effective tool for connecting products with audiences through social media platforms, supporting alternative Egyptian products that align with consumers' needs. It serves as a communication tool to convey ideas, information, and emotions, persuading the audience to make purchasing decisions and acquire these products. The widespread presence of digital advertising across platforms strengthens its influence on purchasing behavior. This enables institutions to craft messages directly targeting the audience, influencing their behavior and generating immediate responses. This, in turn, increases interaction, improves the institution’s reputation, and fosters long-term relationships.
This research aims to explore the effectiveness of digital advertising on social media in raising awareness of alternative Egyptian products and its impact on emotional connections with these products, ultimately influencing individual behavior and society as a whole.
