Abstract

The revolution achieved the technology witnessed by the world by providing computers in all areas great help to humans where the standards were legalized for many areas governing performance, and with the beginning of the use of digital control technology CNC there was a development in manufacturing which was dependent on workers in a work that consumed a lot of time, money and human mistakes, so the technology contributed to reducing the time needed for the product while reducing costs and the possibility of producing complex products.
With development, these systems are part of an industrial system that uses industrial integration methods (CIM) where the manufacturing mechanism is carried out from product design to storage with high accuracy and we find that digital control systems and similar systems are now used in all processes that can be represented by successive steps and processes, such as laser cutting and unloading, and it is unfair not to use this technology in the design and development of glass furniture where the glass designer faces many problems of the right and can be overcome by exploiting Digital control technology making The glass product is able to compete stronger in the global and local furniture markets, hence the problem of research: Can CNC digital control technology be used to develop glass furniture? How can a glass designer raise the levels of creativity in glass furniture design through modern technology?,The goal of this research is: to develop glass furniture by taking advantage of digital control technology to overcome the different design constraints facing the glass furniture designer .The importance of research lies in finding easy solutions that help glass designers overcome the obstacles of implementation in modern glass furniture designs in order to overcome production difficulties in local and international markets.
