The role of art in achieving sustainability and humanization standards in waterfronts

Abstract

This research endeavors to adapt the philosophy of the Fourth Dimension in the design of children's clothing with  cartoon Egyptian characters. The aim is to enhance children's visual communication through kinesthetic and visual perception achieved through 4D printing techniques. This approach seeks to foster interaction between the design and the child, thereby rendering children's clothing more interactive and dynamic.
The study outlines the requisite steps, commencing with a comprehensive understanding of the Fourth Dimension philosophy and its manifestations within art movements such as Cubism, Surrealism, and Abstract Art, which provide insights for artistic composition. Concurrently, it involves a thorough examination of Egyptian cartoon characters, including "El-Leila El-Kebira" and "Bakkar," recognized for their significant influence on children's,Based on these premises, the research hypothesizes the feasibility of integrating the structural insights from these art forms with cartoon characters and applying 4D printing techniques to produce interactive designs.  This innovative approach is anticipated to add substantial aesthetic and functional value to textile printing, enrich the aesthetic dimensions of cartoon characters, and open new avenues for experimentation in the field.
The investigation successfully culminated in the design and 4D printing of three distinct prototypes that meticulously fulfill the conceptual criteria of the Fourth Dimension philosophy. These results underscore the promising potential for developing interactive children's clothing that significantly enhances appeal and engagement, directly leveraging the abstract principles of the Fourth Dimension and the rich heritage of cartoon Egyptian characters .
