The use of Greek letters in creation of upholstery fabric designs

Abstract

When talking about art in ancient Greece, we've come to the completed
fruit of Greek civilization, but unfortunately we do not find the remnants
of this great little output. This is because the destruction of Greek
literature suffered as a result of the aggression of time and control the
narrow-minded ignorant, and the changing of patterns and mental
fancies, is nothing mentioned if measured to what happened on the
Greek art of destruction. As well as we had nothing remains of the
Greek inscriptions on textiles, wood, ivory, silver or gold, except a little,
this is because these materials were the weakest or most valuable to
escape from the hands of looters or days. So we had to re-paint these
arts, using what had been remained from it .
From this point, this research works on a technical study of the Greek
letters and use of this study in creating ideas to suit for functional
purposes of upholstery fabric designs to suit the tastes of Egyptian
consumers .
