Abstract

People with special needs have been marginalized and neglected for decades. Their talents have been wasted without any benefit, regardless of the burden they impose on their families and society. Today, in the twenty-first century, we need every resource to improve our society, keep pace with the information revolution, adapt development, and adapt all possibilities to the creation of a place for our country. Thus, attention has been paid to all groups of persons with special needs and those with visual disabilities in particular Vision or lack of vision also affects older persons and impedes them from continuing to be productive. The Egyptian government has devoted attention to the issue of persons with disabilities and has designated 3 December every year as a National Day for them, as well as schools for them to develop their abilities. The designers were therefore obliged to comply with the principles of interior design to accommodate their disabilities, help them to live smoothly in any public building and school buildings in particular, and adhere to the specific building code and work to develop it to suit The Times, thus affecting their productivity and better integration into society.
