Abstract

The concept of transparency is one of the important concepts that emerged in the twentieth century, and this concept has been linked in the arts to the intellectual development of civilizations, and their social, political, and economic concepts. Where the background elements do not disappear completely, but appear weaker.
This study has taken place the concept of transparency in interior design and architecture, not only with glass, but beyond the material - at some point - to surround the concept of the place and its philosophy and the purity of its spaces and lines, and thus transparency can include, from this perspective, the delicate marriage between noble materials and the place itself. . The contradiction in some situations and circumstances will find its place in this broad definition that expands with the breadth of the idea. The aim of the study is to give the place vitality, through the choices of the elements that participate in its grace, and to highlight the purity of its lines, and the simplicity of its structure, confirming from the perspective of what its transparency and what its spacious and open spaces reflect. Which made the study conclude that transparency is a modern trend, but that it can be in harmony with all the styles and styles of architecture and interior design of the dwelling, and the concept is not comfortable for everyone, but it certainly achieves an exceptional atmosphere, a feeling of lightness, breadth and communication with nature, so the study recommends paying attention to the applications of the concept Transparency because it supports the connection and communication between architecture and interior design on the one hand and nature on the other
