Abstract

Fabrics differ according to the variety of fibers they are made of, the methods of spinning their threads, the textile structures in them, as well as the processing operations which is being conducted on them. Double and multi-layered textiles are considered composite textiles, as these textiles consist of two or more fabrics, each separated from the other, or sometimes cohesive, each appearing with the other on the surface of the woven, creating an inscription according to the Specific design idea. This method of working double fabrics may go beyond creating perfect consistency between the two layers of the woven and some parts of the design to obtain special effects such as the prominent surfaces that characterize women’s and children’s clothes, which result from the different covering factors between the two layers of the woven, and the use of some different threads in the number of twine, as well as the operation of Lycra threads (elastic threads), whether made of natural or synthetic fibers.
The idea of the research is to take advantage of the techniques of producing three-dimensional woven fabrics using metallic threads, some natural and industrial threads, and the double weave structure in creating innovative designs, by identifying those materials and technologies appropriate for the implementation of these fabrics, and the scientific bases for employing these fabrics in evening wear for women, as they are considered Fabrics are the foundation of the fashion industry.
(3) designs inspired by natural elements were made, (9) samples were produced, and a questionnaire form was designed and presented to the arbitrators, including academic professors and specialists. In order to know their opinion on the samples produced and the extent to which aesthetic values were achieved in the designs and their suitability for use in women’s evening wear fabrics, and through the results of statistical treatments, the best sample was selected and used in women’s evening wear fabrics.
